Jake is a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York and a former licensed ship's officer.  He has over 30 years individual experience practicing in maritime law.  Jake is board certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in admiralty and maritime law, and civil trial law.  He is also certified as a circuit civil and federal court mediator.  See Jake's full bio.
